You certainly have a good point Michael, and one that adds a modicum of relevance to the original post. I guess that most gliding venues around Australia involve long drives, certainly ours at Cunderdin can be over two and a half hours each way. Chuck in the factors of a long Gliding day, possible dehydration ,exposure to high temperatures and the stage is set for serious fatigue induced traffic mishaps. So far we've been lucky, but the really vulnerable drivers are those who travel alone. All the more reason for encouraging car-pooling methinks.

It would be interesting to do a straw poll to see how many people have had fatigue related accidents/incidents on the drive home.
