There is a list on the CASA website under "Aircraft registration" which
lists all aircraft for which they have not received the paperwork to
transfer to Part 47 status. Maybe this is the place to look. There are a
number of gliding clubs with guernseys in this list. There is at least
one I know of which was written off years ago, but which has obviously
not been notified to CASA until very recently. (GIX)
I believe that some years ago GFA was not very diligent in passing on
such information. They are very good now though.

And more likely to be true as the glider type gets older too.
What I really meant was, those that have been transferred are more
likely to be in use or have owners who care about them. Those that
haven't been transferred yet, (if they still exist) are maybe not so
valued by their owner. I would start a search with them first, then go
onto the known transferred ones. A quick check on GOK shows that it
hasn't been transferred yet.
