You would be welcome to join me for the trip.  However my return arrangements are a bit up in the air as I’m planning to perhaps go down to Mt Gambier for a visit after the Games.  My current intention is to leave Bne o the 18th and collect the Mosquito at DDSC and kickoff from there early on the Thursday.  Overmite somewhere around Longreach.  I’m sharing accommodation with friends in Alice and if you are still keen will see if there is another bed.

I'll make myself available as crew for someone for the Alice Masters if you can get me from south-west Brisbane (and back) for the duration. Happy to just be part of it and haven't ever been to "The Alice"!!
