G'day Group,
Thanks for the replies on this, appologies to anyone if I have caused any
grief though - my thoughts are with them. Like you said, will be a little
more carefull on this one in the future.
Regards,
Adam
P.s. Had my first XC since the worlds (12months have passed) on the weekend,
had an absolute blast! 240km triangle. 1st - Greg Kolb (90.1km/hr), 2nd -
Jim Crowhurst (90.0km/hr), 3rd - Myself (89.9km/hr), 4th - Lisa Trotter
(85km/hr), 5th and 6th - Peter Trotter and Bill Hatfield (speeds, cant
remember)
4500' base with SCT CU. 18knot easterly with FEW showers throughout the
tasking area. A typical european day really, lots of foward planning, bit
of stopping, some good cruising. Had a real buzz again, looking foward to
returning to the comp circuit now that I'm back on the east coast!

Adam,
just be careful using the expired/cancelled rego's to find a new glider.
Some of the aircraft listed ( at least two ) were involved in fatal
accidents.
The families don't need the grief.
