Scheibe is back in business after closing down in April http://www.scheibe-aircraft.de/ I think after old Scheibe died a few years ago the son-in-laws realised the realestate at Dachau was valuable and they just closed down and under German law somebody gets appointed to take over service for 10years(?) My friend at Eurocopter in Munchen reports that all the paper records of all the gliders they ever built and all the paper plans (they did not believe in computers!!!) were all moved and now you can get a new Rotax Falke with not such a long delay
