Drinking water at 10deg compared to 20 or 25deg does nothing to cool down a
standard 70kg male, let alone the average 90+kg glider pilot. 2L of water
is only ~2% body weight, so adds nothing to body cooling. It just tastes
more pleasant when you're hot!
Just keep drinking enough to keep peeing. It doesn't matter what
temperature it is (the drink, that is.) Medically, urine output is one of
the simplest measures of fluid volume status.

The colder your drinking water is, the more effective is the cooling
effect, and thus the corresponding reduction in water need (by reducing
loss from sweating)
