Thankyou very much for all your kind words, both on and off the list. Off
the list though, I have managed to find some temporary accommodation to help
me settle in as well as a lead to a young lass (!) for permanent renting...
I noticed that the topic touched on the juniors movement again, and like Tom
had said: thanks to all you guys/gals that allow/make it happen! I
encorouge you all to drop through (if your in the area)Leeton in the coming
JG07 to see the atmosphere for yourself, to see what you've all allowed to
take place (ie, ground help, lead-up help, sponsorships, support, etc).
Just dont ask us to turn down the music if you stay a night or two!! :)

I am looking forward to meeting Adam one day. With a keen junior like him
and the others like him, there is hope for our sport keeping on going when
I eventually become an OF. (However, I will never wear a TTH, just an
Arabhat.) :-) With the rate of our declining membership, our sport as we
know it may not be going in twenty years time when I definitely will be
one.
With the demise of Sportavia, our outlook is not good. We need all the
juniors we can get and do not need juniors being put off by cranky members
of this list.

I thought the gliding community were a good, kind, close-knit group, and
they maybe able to help me out. I know I'd rather find someone that I
semi-know, then taking my chance (which I'll probably have to do all the
same) with a stranger. Thought asking the question couldn't hurt...
