If you are planning to go to Narromine for any aviation event (eg NatFly, - from what I understand accommodation is almost booked out) and cannot find accommodation so plan to stay in Dubbo I recommend the Forest Lodge Motor Inn and Restaurant. The rates are reasonable and the owners, Mick and Liz Lowther (Mick is ex-Qantas) are delightful and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. One of them will also pick you up at Dubbo airport given prior notice. I'm not sure of their website address (google Forest Lodge Dubbo) but their email address is [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I stayed there for two nights whilst Keith was undergoing surgery in Dubbo and they couldn't do enough to help me. Regards, AnneE
