Your enquiry is timely, as our Lake Keepit Club Committee met just yesterday
and ratified the decision to hold the NSW State Titles in November this
year.
Dates are from Saturday 10th November through Saturday 18th November
inclusive.
As you know, we pride ourselves on running a great comp, with a friendly
atmosphere at a terrific site. Lake Keepit is surely one of the best gliding
sites in Australia with great variety of terrain - lakes, mountains
flatlands, scrub and valleys. In November the days are getting long, risk of
thunderstorms is low and with a bit benign intervention, we can provide you
with some great soaring.
I hope you can come and join us again.
We'll be progressively setting the organisational wheels into motion. It
will be a while before more details are available but check our website (new
location) www.keepitsoaring.com in a few months or so - we'll try and get
preliminary info up as soon as practicable.
In the meantime pencil in these dates - Nov 10-18th 2007.

I - like many people - have a busy life and whilst gliding is important,
it's not the only thing I do. In order to make sure I can make the best
use of my time, I really need to plan ahead - and that means I need to
know when things I want to do are going to happen.
If you go to the GFA web site, you'll find that there's a sports calendar
(see http://www.gfa.org.au/sport/calendar.php or go to the main page and
select Sports and then Calendar from the side menu). Unfortunately, you'll
also see that this is seriously underpopulated - no dates on this for
things like the NSW state comp, Narromine cup etc etc for this year (let
alone for next year).
PLEASE - if you know the dates for upcoming competitions, then PLEASE
could you email them to Tim Shirley ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), Robert
Moore ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) and Maurice Little ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) so
that we can get the info on the web site up to date.
If you know about people setting dates on gliding related stuff - PLEASE
get them to email the info to at least Maurice Little (who amongst other
things manages the web site content.
