Dear Major Dantic,
I totally concur with your pronunciation of said words kilometre/kilogram. I
have been enunciating this way since the metric system landed on our fair
shores.The american version of many english words only makes them common
linguists, but the english are cunning linguists, they can get their tongues
around the most difficult of words.
