Very well put Peter. I had never heard of the scheme (but I am fortunate to live in an area where good service is available), prior to your post. A quick look at the web site you listed showed that on a 36 month contract there were no additional costs (provided you did not exceed your download limit), other than the monthly fee, and on an 18 month contract only a $200 setup fee. In either case it looked like you saved about $3000 on the non-subsidized costs. What a bargain! Is this yet another example of one of those well kept Govt. secrets?
