Upgraded the aerial on the wireless router to a D-Link Ant24-0700 Indoor 7Dbi Gain Omni-Directional Antenna *
Using a my PDA I was able to surf the internet along the outer fringe of the tie down area with full signal. Hopefully the gliders and cars will not effect the signal to much some of the flight line areas had signal. Runway 29 having full signal and I used the internet at this location. All the old hanger areas had reasonable signal strength. I did not check the new taxiway and hanger areas The only areas that did not have signal was in the caravan park cabins. We are upgrading the computer Chris donated to have XP and a media bay for those without laptops or access. Has anyone upgraded to a new system eg vista and has a Genuine XP PRO serial number that they would like to donate due to the fact they are no longer using the serial number ? Went flying on Sunday never have I seen Narromine so green.
