I am going to be away for some 4 weeks and don't want to get all the
aus.soaring stuff in my mailbox while away. But I have forgotten how to
"unsubscribe" and when I tried the instructions I have on file, which are
pretty old, they didn't work.
Can someone please remind me how to unsubscribe? (and how to re-subscribe
when I get back).

I have used polarised / UV filtered sunnies for many years in both gliding
flight and power flying.
I find that they really cut the glare and you can see the thermals better.
The optical interference effects with the canopy/windshield have been
barely noticeable.
The main problem has been with LCD displays, maybe more a problem in a
glass cockpit
