Hi All

We have a GlideFast Cross Country Soaring Coaching course running at
Narromine from October 27th to November 4th 2007. The course has been
scheduled at the beginning of the season specifically to allow you to put
the lessons learned into practice over the remainder of the soaring season.
Plus the NSW State Comps are at Lake Keepit one week later so it can be a
great warm up.

To register simply go to the Narromine Gliding Club Website:

We have selected Narromine for its soaring conditions, availability of
accommodation, proximity to the town, and the Narromine Gliding Club
clubhouse has outstanding meeting room facilities, BBQ, and, free wireless
broadband internet access available onsite with signal strength now reaching
out to the glider tie down areas. We will have two and possibly three high
performance two seat aircraft, (eg: Duo Discus, DG, etc), available during
the course for one-on-one cross country coaching.

Peter & Lisa Trotter developed the Glidefast courses to have the key
characteristics of being: intensive, applied, focused, challenging and fun.
They are designed to be small and intensive. The optimum number of
participants is 8 and 10 is the maximum. Having a smaller number of pilots
makes it possible to focus on individual performance.

A leading principle in the choice of content for the GlideFast courses is
the application of knowledge and theory. It is one thing to know what needs
to be done to achieve high level cross-country performance, but it is
another to know how to achieve improved performance. The GlideFast course
starts with what it is that you need to being doing in the air and then
provides explanation with theory as needed.

A key objective of the GlideFast courses is to inspire pilots to be
ambitious with their cross-country flying and to recognise the many
possibilities to achieve. A persistent outcome of this journey to
achievement, at all levels, should be fun and enjoyment.

Hope to see you there, ROSS
