Hi Ian

Sorry - my mistake!!! It should have read ASW 28.
(If you don't get it right - it is usually wrong!!!)

Thanks for the kind words on my book. I have received lots of
positive feedback already but it is very nice of you to do it publicly.
My publisher thought he printed enough to last him about 2 years
but after only 4 month he is already preparing for another print
run. If there are any typos please let me know.
We will fix them up on that occasion.

Subject: [Aus-soaring] Pre-worlds at Luesse, Germany

Hi all!!!

I might be a bit slow - but better late than never!

Feedback from the European competition scene makes for very good reading

when wearing Schleicher glasses like me.

First and second place in open class at the pre worlds in Luesse.
Congratulations to Michael Sommer and Tassilo Bode flying ASW 22.

Clean sweep in 15 m class at the pre worlds in Luesse.
Congratulations to Georg, Martin and Florian Theisinger all flying ASW
27.

Second place in 18 m class at the pre worlds in Luesse.
Congratulations to Mac Ichikawa flying ASG 29
The Australian Boys (Graham Parker & David Jansen) picked up their brand

new ASG 29s only a few days prior to the competition. They did extremely
well and
could have finished up on the podium if it wasn't for an airspace
infringement - zero
points on one day.

First place in the Ladies world comp in Romorantin (France).
Congratulations to Sara Kelmann (UK) flying ASG 28

Clean sweep in 18 m class at the UK Nationals at Husbands Bosworth:
Congratulations to Mike Young, Ed Johnston and Russell Cheetham, all
flying
ASG 29 E.

Stay tuned to this channel, there is more to come.

And while I have got your attention, Schleicher will return from their
works holidays
on Monday.

Kind regards

Bernard Eckey
