They work a treat at 10 to 20 g to 1000 ml of solution, so 50c to $ 1.00 per Pee bag. Just what I was looking for! The Yates website describes them as "A mix of high tensions, cross linked potassium ammonium based copolymers ... 800 to 2000 micron " Thanks again Dave. The substance can absorb up to 500 times its weight of water and forms a gel like substance when fully absorbed. A big benefit of using water crystals, or nappy liners, is that even if your plastic bag has a hole, it still won't leak. I used the nappy liner option for many years, before having an installed peetube. Works well. Dave
