WPP,
Good on you, champ! One of my brothers-in-law is an Airbus 'driver'
for Cathay Pacific. He flew with an Aussie regional airline during
his 'ascendency'. I can't remember which one - they operated Beech
1900s amongst other types; the operation eventually folded but not
before my bro-in-law had gained the necessary experience and
endorsements to move on. Was it Hazleton? Damn, I'm having a CRAFT
moment. Anyway, I'm sure you'll make a great Rex pilot. Don't forget
to say g'day to the Canberra gliding types if you end up whizzing
past Bunyan on your way to Cooma during snow ski seasons.
Cheers,
Mitch.

G'day All,
Well in normal Woolley Pup Pup fashion, when I get some good news I
like to tell the world about it.. This time is no different, so
apologies if you see this as spam!
I had a call from Regional Express (www.rex.com.au) yesterday
afternoon at 17:15, saying that my application for my pilot
employment has been successful! At this stage, I start my ground
school on a SAAB340 in Sydney on the 15th of October :) Still
unsure of what base I'll be assigned..
The downer for me is that gliding will be put on hold for a short
while :(
