Please Please check your Cambridge start up data and READ the backup voltage should be 3.0v BUT if less than 2.7v PLEASE replace your battery NOW before your seal is lost.
Now if it is low then buy a 2032 (smaller but thicker than original 2325) removetop cover 2 screws (in mod 10 remove bottom plate) and locate battery. Now power up logger with 12 volts, slide out old battery and slide in new one and mark outside of box to replace battery in 2012!! YOU CAN DO IT YOURSELF before seal is lost. This Cambridge technology is from early 90s and most units are still working - I have ser no 001 (the first ever secure logger) and still to this day it is working and never needed a re seal This season has been the worst ever for unsealed loggers all because the internal button cell is down to 2 volts. I am not sure pilots are reading the start up info when they use their cambridge GPS logger. For those trying to get me I have weakened and got sucked in by Telstra/Harvey Norman and changed from CDMA network to Next G (with a new Uniden GPS and $100 credit in 3 months). The old Hyundai CDMA got dropped a few too many times last week Also emails are working again after being "over quoter" Ian McPhee (skype macca304) Box 657 Byron Bay NSW 2481 Australia Tel +61(0)2 66847642 mob +61(0)428847642 [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.mrsoaring.com Ian McPhee (skype macca304) Box 657 Byron Bay NSW 2481 Australia Tel +61(0)2 66847642 mob +61(0)428847642 VoIP local 0266781917 [EMAIL PROTECTED] www.mrsoaring.com
