Well done Sarah and well done to the rest of the Joeygllde '07
competitors for a safe and successful competition in the most trying
of weather. It's a shame that there wasn't more racing done; at least
the minimum number of competition days was reached. The Dec-Jan issue
of Sailplane and Gliding from the UK has coverage of the '07 Juniors
competition over there - one day flying and eight scrubbed due to
biblical amounts of rain!
Congratulations to Mark and the rest of the Joeyglide competition
team for making the best of the circumstances. In regard to the
couple of infringements recorded against pilots, I'm sure the
'guilty' have learned valuable lessons from the experience. Let's
hope they take those lessons with them as they continue to develop as
competition soaring pilots.
