Hi All The GFA AGM/ABM is being held in Adelaide this year, on the weekend of the 6th & 7th of September.
Following the AGM Saturday morning which will be relatively brief, the rest of the day will comprise a series of seminars by guest speakers, with dinner followed by award and trophy presentations in the evening, similar to last year in Melbourne and Brisbane the year before that. Both of these events were very well attended and very successful, and work is well underway to ensure that the event in Adelaide this year will be equally successful. At previous events various vendors put on displays which attracted a lot of interest. So again, vendors of products related to gliding, such as sailplanes, instruments, books, etc are invited to put on a display of their wares (space permitting) and promotional material. Please reply to me directly, as soon as possible, registering your interest in putting on a display and how much space you would require. There is also an opportunity for vendors to sponsor the event, in return for prominent advertising opportunities. Again, please reply to me directly if you would like to arrange sponsorship/advertising.
