The Riverina must be a good place for vintage aviation at the end of the month then! Not only do we have the Flight of the Condor, and the Vintage Glider meeing at Lockhart, but also the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia are having their annual convention on the same weekend 25 - 27 April, at the Temora aerodrome (Glidng Club, Aero Club, numerous homebuilders, and the Temora Aviation museum where all 14 of the dispaly aircraft are maintained in flying condition).
This month there will also be around 150 vintage aeroplanes - but don't let that put you off visiting to join in all the fun. It will be a great weekend. You might even talk some of the vintage aeroplanes into calling in at Lockhart and begging a tow from any with a hook.
