no big surprise there Mal as I am sure that there are others who like me 
have been at 10
000ft and  joined up with a flock of Pelikans, what did surprise me though 
was to be joined by a big bunch of tumbleweed whilst thermalling at 10 00ft 
just south of Waikerie where the BIG thermals play
