I think this is a fabulous idea Tom, and it should be administrated through 
your friendly state gliding association. (trust me)

  What a powerful promotional tool this will be for our sport. I recommend that 
every 

  state association gets one and allows clubs to use it as a promotional tool. 
This would be 

  just as impressive a lot easier to manage than putting a glider into a 
shopping centre which 

  our club has done twice over the last couple of years.

  For those interested, the sim is now at a full working cockpit stage.  Of 
course it is still a little rough round the edges but is working well.  Now on
