I don't use GPS & logging much, so I can't be of much help, but the first
thing to pop into my head when the date is behind by one day but all time
settings etc. are fine would be the leap year. I'd of thought that anyone
writing software for GPS logger would think of the leap year, but I have
seen software (including database software for a school and pre-made php
driven websites) where the person who wrote it neglected to take into
account the leap year.
