Hi all Good news from Luesse, Germany See below!! Kind regards Bernard Monday, 11 August 2008 David It was a bit more like Australia today with lighter winds and solid cu with predictable lift. Graham and I spent most of the day with team Theisinger, having finally figured out that you have to be part of a group on most days. They made a bad decision towards the end of the flight and Graham and I ran away from them. I had a couple of great climbs but then somebody flicked the thermal "off" switch and I went from 6,000' to below 1,000' off the deck in one glide. Getting low blew my speed out of the water however Graham held it together for us and brought home first place for Australia today. Well done Graham.
