For those of you who have a Borgelt B50 and have had trouble getting it to talk to XCSoar on a PDA:
I've got mine working fine with the following setup - Flarm connected to serial port of PDA providing GPS & flarm data(Generic, 19200 baudrate). B50 connected via a bluetooth/serial adaptor providing airspeed, climb/sink etc (Borgelt B,4800 baudrate). This is the bluetooth adaptor I'm using: http://www.iogear.com/product/GBS301/ The only problem with this one is it runs at 6 volts so needs a voltage regulator ($1.20 at Dick Smiths) connected. It also needs to be configured from a PC to get 4800 baudrate. There are a few different brands of these available. Cheers, Greg. _______________________________________________ Aus-soaring mailing list [email protected] To check or change subscription details, visit: http://lists.internode.on.net/mailman/listinfo/aus-soaring
