Hi all

I'm trying to source metric tyres for Jantars. Many singles and quite a few twins were originally fitted with 350 x 135 metric tyres which were nigh on impossible or highly expensive to source in Australia. Due to poor supply, most of us fitted imperial 5.00 x 5 tyres which are a near equivalent. It appears, however, the 5.00 x 5's are slightly wider which results in chafing in some undercarriage systems including Jantars and Piks.

There is a relatively new agent in Australia for Mitas (Czech) tyres which appear to be a major source in Europe. There is quite a lead time to getting these tyres into Australia so there may be value in a bulk order - is anyone experiencing a problem with 5.00 x 5's and interested in the original tyre size?
