Happy New Year to all! One of my customers has asked me to put him in touch with potential customers for his ASK 21 as he is just about to leave on a lengthy overseas trip. We will write to clubs who have recently shown an interest in this trainer but have decided to make the following upfront announcement on Aus-soaring:
ASK 21 for sale: The aircraft has flown about 9,100 hours and has been given a life extension inspection to 12,000 hours. It has not flown for a year and is currently in need of a Form 2 inspection. The aircraft has always been hangared and is equipped with good instruments including Cambridge GPS in both cockpits. It has been refinished in Dulux 2 pack PU paint and comes with a factory spin kit. The asking price is $ 65000 for a cash sale. Alternatively 3 year payment terms can be agreed upon with 25% deposit and interest on the balance @ 1% over the official inter-bank rate. In this case the asking price is $69,000. The current owner would need to be certain it was insured and his interest is noted on the insurance policy. The trailer is currently in use with another glider and will only become available during the second half of the year. It is available for $6,000. Photos are available on request.
