Well congratulations Mike, I don't know where to start. Are you really so
blinkered a bigot to believe all of Islam is plotting against us, or was this
simple ignorance driven by fundamentalist christian belief?
I see you later are trying to back off from your claim saying you were no
referring to all of the Moslem faith. Your words are unambiguos, it is too late
to ry and back away from them now.
Whilst I feel sorry for you having to pay your $200, in no way does that
excuse your descent into cheap innuendo more typical of redneck US
fundamentalist Christians. (Who frankly concern me far more than Islamic
terrorists).

Who fought and started the 2 biggest world wars in History Mike? Hint It was
not Moslems.
More were killed in those 2 wars than all the other wars in history combined-
all driven by "Christian countries"-including the only use of Nuclear weapons.

Osama Bin Laden was trained and funded by the US CIA, a leading proponent of
terrorism for the last 50 years. (See South America). The IRA was largely
funded by Irish American catholics. The Shah of Iran was brought to power by a
CIA led coup. Israel could not continue to persecute the Palestinians without
the shipments of weapons, including cluster bombs, supplied by the US. It is
clear to thinking people that meddling of this kind was the direct cause of the
current situation, not some vague "Plot" by Islam to take over the world.
There are and have been many Christian (IRA), Hindu (cant remember the name)
and Jewish terrorist organizations too (See Irgun).
The reason you have that card is our "leaders" total failure to understand
terrorism, and cowardice in that they indulged in an extraordinary scare
campaign in reacting to 9/11. In the whole time when the IRA was bombing the UK
there were only very limited changes to laws and civil liberties, that was how
to react-show defiance in the face of terror. (see the actions of the British
during the Blitz) .
The then Howard Liberal govt took the chance to allow Police an extraordinary
power grab effectively reoving soemof our fundemantal civil liberties-which we
we are yet to see the bad side of. THE FIRST STEP IN DEFEATING TERRORISM IS NOT
ALLOWING YOURSELF TO BE SCARED. As soon as you are scared do the terrorists
have won. You sound scared in your words here, if not paranoid Mike.
Blame the politicians who indulged in this security theater to gain cheap
political points, not the innocent 96% of the Islamic world who abhors the
action of terrorists as we do.
The recent events at Sydney Airport reinforce how little real improvement in
security has occurred.
