I'm using this bluetooth adaptor to send B50 data to my HP5500: http://www.iogear.com/product/GBS301/ After a few days flying I can now say it's working reliably. The B50 outputs data at 4800 baud. The dip switches on the BT adaptor only select down to 19,200. To get it to run at 4800 I had to boot it with a crossover serial cable connected to my PC and use Hyperterm to get into the setup menu. It does remember the setting once programmed.
The only other hassle with this BT adaptor is that it runs on 6 v. I've connected it via a 6v regulator but I'm advised these do waste power. It would probably be better to find a BT adaptor that works on 12 v. Cheers, Greg. PS David - I'm still keen to get the CD On Fri, 5 Jun 2009 03:04:20 +0000, David Lawley <[email protected]> wrote: > > > HI all, > > IPAQ 312 serial adaptor; > > http://www.pna-einbau.de/ > > 99 Euro though!
