I would certainly be interested in a translation if possible and sufficient interest. There seems to be two separate approaches in the article, the first just bridging some of the USB pins which apparently converts the output to serial (rumour has it the HP31X has an inbuilt serial port). I gather this approach switches off the extended (high rate) charge mode of the PNA. The second approach using a TTL board I gather maintains both. If you go ahead I would look forward to the translation.
