Back some time ago there was a very expensive IOR 50 footer in the US called Fujimo. I always thought Fujimo was some Japanese name or sponsor. This would have been around 1990. I think the base price for something like this back then was around $600,000 which makes gliders look cheap... but then you do get more plastic in a boat. It turned out that the "owner's wife" ( a term which used to get my wife seriously upset!) whose name was June decided enough was enough and raised a protest at the price of the boat. So the name Fujimo actually stood for FU June, I'm moving out.
