Brian,
I went out west from Melbourne for a year. The Beverley Soaring Society is a
great bunch who welcomed me. All of the WA clubs are 100km plus out of Perth so
it's a good idea to stay out at the club overnight and get two days flying and
enjoy the company. Great flying conditions, no airspace limits to speak of, go
& enjoy!
