Bollocks, this is definately a non humour, mind your own bee's wax group, if
you want to talk all this non gliding associated garbage, I can put you in
touch with a person and he can get your very own list to post all the garbage
onto, just imagine, your very own list, and then this list could be just
someone else's. And as for Miss Dunn , well she more than likely was and
probably by you Mr. Holding. Where were you on the night in question ?
and on a brighter note, thats all from me..

JR

Ross, I like to read all this stuff so that people can tell us what we should
be thinking, and how to behave on mail lists. I find it refreshing to have
people drawing attention to what is (and is not) appropriate to say. The fact
that I personally need this guidance is a sad reflection on Miss Dunn, who
clearly failed to inculcate an appropriate demeanour in me way back when I was
I grade three. It is indeed a privilege to have access to the wisdom of those
best able to guide us on our behaviour. I'm not sure by what authority they
act, but Miss Dunn pointed out, we should all listen to those who know better.

My understanding is that by convention, we have authority to slag -

    a.. Blaniks
    b.. GFA
    c.. Any make of glider
    d.. New gliders
    e.. Old gliders
    f.. CASA
    g.. All CD's
    h.. Scorers
    i.. NCC
    j.. Computers
    k.. Contest pilots
    l.. Non contest pilots

This non exhaustive list therefore gives us heads of power to cover a wide
range of ground.

And now, we get to add 'what to talk about' to the list - very helpful in
expanding the scope of discussion. J

  Simon
