We have reached the limit of 60 entrants for the National Club and Sports Class Comp being held at Lake Keepit in November. This will mean a great comp for all , with 27 gliders contesting Club Class and 33 in Sports. Regrettably we have capped the entry list to 60 gliders which means we can't accept any more entry forms - this is the number we believe we can satisfactorily cater for. More, and we may start disappointing people - tugs, catering, accommodation, airfield and club facilities are all likely to get strained if we were to accept more entries. It's important for us, and all contestants that the comp runs smoothly, and meets everyone's expectations of the Lake Keepit Club. We are prepared to take applications to join a wait list ( we currently have two gliders already on this list). There may be last minute cancellations and you may be lucky. IMPORTANT FOR CURRENT ENTRANTS - If you are an accepted starter for the comps, and are thinking of not coming, please let us know immediately, so we can give someone else the chance to fly this comp. If we don't hear back from you, we'll assume you're coming.
