Maybe I'm not using it properly.... But....
This is by far the clumsey-est chat forum I've ever used.
Most forums I've been involved with have a clearer thread display,
with many more options for replying, editting, attaching etc etc.
Most email programs can display threaded groups quite nicely.
At the very least I would expect to be able to click "reply" or
"quote" on the screen that shows the message.
Huh? My email program can reply to any message that is in the folder.
Shuffling between my email and the forum archive is a real pain.
Once yo've been here a while you won't often need to go to the archive.
And I don't want my email inbox clogged up by forum messages.
You could get your email program to filter the list messages into a
different folder. It is easy to identify by the [Aus-soaring] in the
subject field.
Am I doing it wrong ? .......OR......... am I suggesting that the
forum finds a supplier of better format ?
Probably. Most (all?) of the participants here find the format of this
forum just fine.
