I'm currently in the UK at the International Vintage Glider Rally at Tibenham, Norfolk.
Can someone (Patch, JR?) let me know the dates of the Australian Vintage Rally for 2011 so I can pass the message around, please.
Lots of Dutch and Germans, and lots of very interesting and historic gliders - including Hols der Teufel. Today is cool and windy NW'ly with winch launch only as the runway cannot support parallel winch and A/T ops. Most people seem to be staying up in good thermals in spite of the 15 kt drift, with very few quick return circuits, though winch heights are not great.
