Hi

Karen from PA rang me today to advise me of this possible defect with my
Parachute which purchased last year falls into this AD. She then promptly
emailed me this document. Fortunately on inspection mine does not have this
defect.

Full marks to PA for proactive follow up with their customers, I would say
that as long as you are in their data base as having purchased a chute
within the suspect range, they will have contacted you by now.

I guess this raises an important point, if you purchase a parachute second
hand or from a supplier other than the manufacturer, you should immediately
register your details with the parachutes manufacturer.

Cheers,

John
