If you want to import from Excel you will need to save the file from Excel into a *.csv format (comma separated variable) file with the records in the format as follows. name,code,country,lat,lon,elev,style,rwdir,rwlen,freq,desc <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEGXKVq_jCE>"Cunderdin Aerodrome",CNDRDNRD,AU,3137.396S,11712.989E,702.1ft,5,50,1850.1ft,"126.700","Start Point, Finish Point, Turn Point, Aerodrome" Not all of the fields are required however if omitted then a double ,, must be used to show an empty field. "CUNAIR",CUNAIR,,3137.400S,11712.983E,705.0ft,5,0,0.0ft,, You can save into different file format such as *.dat (Cambridge) this requires a lot less info in the record however it does want the turnpoint records numbered. This is the 41st record in one of my files. 41,31:37.400S,117:12.983E,215M,TAL,CUNAIR, It can take a bit of fiddling to get it right. Seeyou will see the file and open it when you ask it to look at All File types.
