The slides and notes from my lecture are now available at

I am sorry that it has taken a while to get these up, but the end of the
academic year intruded - and then I had to experiment about how best to
get this on to the web. I am not really happy with this as all the
slides are images, but I can't find a better way to do this that does
not mean completely retyping everything!
Please note that this talk was aimed at pilots operating in Queensland
and some of the comments in the slides are specific to that area.
However, the general information more widely useful.
If you have any queries or comments, please make them on the blog or my
emailing me in person (ie OFF the list) so we don't bog this list down
with unnecessary traffic.
