Dinosaurs were the most successful animals on the planet for something like
130 million years, and were wiped out by a cosmic accident.

Humans have been running the show for a couple of thousand years at most and
we are well on the way to stuffing up the whole thing all by ourselves.

I prefer not to use the term “dinosaur” to describe something that was
unsuccessful, because in fact they were the opposite. Perhaps when we reach
the 200 million anniversary – and there is some way to go - we’ll have
something to boast about.

And in respect of the new Executive Officer I welcome him and wish him well
in what will prove to be a challenging role. As should we all.

Cheers

Tim
