If the organisers and competitors don't want or don't see the benefit in terms of what it costs, then no amount of whinging will see them do it. If you can find enough like minded people to pay for this, I'm sure the organisers and competitors would be happy to use it - then will probably be willing at acknowledge who funded the tracking - it's sponsorship at the end of the day. I really don't care - I have better things to do with my day than watch a glider tracking web page - like earn enough money to fly.
