>From the Norway Post. All incoming and outgoing traffic at Oslo Airport Gardermoen was halted for more than an hour on Thursday afternoon, after an unidentified hang glider or sail plane was observed circling over the airport at 8000 ft. In the meantime, a number of commercial airliners had to be diverted to other airports, even as far away as Sweden. The extra costs to the airlines involved are substantial, NRK reports.
Several attempts at identifying the straying aircraft were made, but by Friday morning the identity was still a mystery.
