Fly Down Under. It's a German crowd who have been operating in South Africa for about ten years, but are relocating due to the escalating risk that their customers might be accidentally machine-gunned. They hire wintered gliders from Europeans, stack them into shipping containers destined for the Southern hemisphere, then hire them out to a different group of Germans. They've imported a Skylaunch winch, they've built a hangar big enough for 30 gliders on the ground floor and another 30 that can be winched on slings into the rafters. It's like a friggin' cathedral inside, a lot bigger than it looks from the air. They'll start operating out of Stonefield next spring. They'll be offering package deals consisting of flights to and from Adelaide, accommodation in the Barossa Valley, and daily transfers to/from the airfield. - mark -------------------------------------------------------------------- I tried an internal modem, [email protected] but it hurt when I walked.
