I have only had one and an almost.
The 'almost' happened in GZQ whilst aerotowing behind Gawlers tug out
of Waikerie (the tug being flown by the late Vince). J was awfully
quiet in the front seat. When I asked what was wrong she said "Just
keep flying smoothly" . After we got off tow she explained that she
had been watching a fray in the rope a meter or two from the nose
slowly get worse and worse, strand by strand during the launch.
We radioed up launch point to tell them to change the rope
