We have an Akai 12' reel to reel tape player fitted in our Blanik, which I enjoy listenting to while aerobatting. It must be helping, because other people have commented that my inverted recovery from a tailslide is becoming more consistent. I like to listen to Brahm's lullaby when in a gaggle. I've been experimenting with closing my eyes, and trying to feel the pressure wave of the other aircraft. Other pilots have said that it seems to work based on the number of near misses that we have. My thoughts are that this technique is certainly working, 'coz so far I haven't actually sensed anything. Is this proof that as pilots we are able to tap into a sense that we don't normally use? > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Date: Fri, 15 Apr 2011 07:44:01 +0930 > Subject: Re: [Aus-soaring] Music while flying? > > Nice choice John, " one of these days" is nice to fly aerobatics to. > regards > JR > _______________________________________________ > Aus-soaring mailing list > [email protected] > To check or change subscription details, visit: > http://lists.internode.on.net/mailman/listinfo/aus-soaring
