One for the records
I had a good interview with Gordon Boettger on Thursday that I'll publish on
Sunday. He and Hugh Bennett broke the record Gordon set five years ago, flying
2,200 kilometers for the longest flight in a sailplane in the Northern
Hemisphere on Wednesday. They were in the air for slightly longer than 13
hours.
Obituary of Nicholas Goodhart, one of England's greatest glider pilots amongst
other things, who died 9/4/11.
