Immediately fixed by rapidly raising the nose.   It was a hot day , flying
close to VNE.  Perhaps not enough allowance for difference between IAS and
TAS.  Repaired top rudder hinge which had slight wear, and then could not
reproduce the event at VNE.

Which bit fluttered Roger? ASW20s had a bad aileron/flap flutter problem early in their life after they had been in service for a while. IIRC it was caused by the pushrod guides in the wings opening up.
