Ross I think some explanation is in order! When Ewen showed me your email he
kept saying that he couldn't place you and even when we looked up your profile
with your photo he was none the wiser, so it seems that you don't know Ewen or
at least you don't know him at all

the vehicle you drive that he has been able to identify.It begs the question
why would you make the statement about his ability? It seems that it is not
your opinion but that of someone else. Perhaps that of one of the people Anne
is referring to in her email. Those of us that really do know Ewen, know that
he is a very capable, responsible and conscientious employee of council who has
gone above and beyond to present the airport in the best condition it can be
for all events and at all other times, there is nothing wrong with his ability.
Your statement does not reflect badly on Ewen but on you so unless you can give
some explanation or justification to back up your statement I think an apology

Subject: [Aus-soaring] No Event Fee for Narromine Airport
Some very good news. The Narromine Council has voted unanimously to drop the
proposed event fee for Narromine Airport.
There will be no such fee imposed.
Thank you to all who wrote directly to the Council opposing the imposition
of this poorly thought out proposal.
The Council has instead set up a stronger airport management committee who
will work with the airport stakeholders towards positively promoting and
encouraging all aviation events at Narromine Airport.
The former airport groundsman has been reassigned to the role of dogcatcher
(true). Those of us who knew Ewan will agree it is a role much better suited
to his ability.
