AATs have been used in the USA for a few furlongs, but they're called Turn Area
Tasks.
Just as Macca implied, my flying is so backwards that tasking is in KM (like
the segelflug world), flying in NM/Kts/Ft (like the rest of aviation) and is
logged in SM/MPH (the norm in the USA).
Still filling tyres using PSI reference and using time in base 60.
Haven't visited Burma yet. Do they have penguins, or is that just what's on the
television?

correct Tim- they (USA) were the last country to drop using film and convert
to GPS tracking and think they recently discovered FLARMs and now AAT. Forget
using multiple starts - thats 10 years away until they have a few mid-airs
before the start Don't get me going they are still in dark ages of degF and
statute miles. Question What do USA and Burma have in common? Ans They are
that backward that they both use miles, feet, and pounds etc
